Go on record: Our residents won't be kidnapped

Vermont lacks legitimate authority for its officials and for local officials, too, to cooperate with ICE. That shadowy agency's campaign of abductions is doing violence to our residents and communities by separating families without real due process; without defensible just cause; without any evidence being presented showing commission of any acts the state considers to be criminal; and without the required acts of our state's judiciary. Please take an explicit stand to protect state communities as well as our local economies — their economies are your economy. Firm, direct, stated resistance to the extralegal thuggery by ICE is in the clear interest of Vermont and its government.
