Vote YES to pass the “For the People Act”

The For the People Act is legislation that I care about. Without equal voting rights we cannot even call ourselves a Democracy. Do you believe that some people should be robbed of their voting rights? Do you believe that if everyone voted Republicans would not get elected? Do you think that if that is true, the way to even the playing field is to rob some citizens of their right to vote by passing Jim Crow laws under the guise of making our elections secure, and making their participation difficult to impossible? That all seems to be the Republican party line, but do you really believe that those actions would pass muster with our Founding Fathers? What it comes down to is this: Republicans may vote against the “For the People Act”to try to hold power, but Patriots will vote to pass this important legislation because they believe in our Democracy, and know that equal access to the ballot box is essential to maintaining a true democracy. Republicans’ fear of losing power will not guide your decision in this matter if you are a Patriot. Please vote YES to pass the “For the People Act”!!
