An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Steadfast Support for Ukraine against Russian Aggression

4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The United States has a long-standing commitment to upholding democratic values and supporting sovereign nations against aggression. Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine represents a clear violation of international law and a threat to global security. We must stand firm in our solidarity with the Ukrainian people as they defend their homeland and their right to self-determination. Providing robust military aid, enforcing crippling economic sanctions, and rallying international condemnation of Russia's actions are crucial steps to countering this unlawful aggression. At the same time, we must keep diplomatic channels open to pursue a just and lasting peace that respects Ukraine's territorial integrity and independence. Backing down in the face of such blatant authoritarianism would only embolden further affronts to the rules-based international order. For the sake of global stability and human rights, the United States must remain resolute in supporting Ukraine against Russia's unjustifiable war of conquest.
