It's time for you to show some courage and demand that the election is firmly out of Trump's reach regardless of the number of lawsuits he launches. Biden needs to be granted access to the transition resources. Trump's erratic behavior and random purges of key senior officials could lead to a serious security threat in the next 10 weeks. Are you oblivious to what's going on, or do you just not care about preserving what's left of democracy? I suggest you read the Washington Post article "Esper’s firing is a danger to national security" and consider their recommendation: "A broader purge would be an invitation to U.S. adversaries to take advantage by launching aggressions they otherwise would not contemplate; a Russian intervention in Belarus or a Chinese foray against Taiwan, for example. At worst, Mr. Trump may be contemplating desperate actions to maintain himself in office. That's why, rather than indulging the president's groundless claims of election fraud, senior Republicans ought to be pressing him to accept his defeat and cooperate in a transition that protects U.S. national security. Please don't bother to send me a reply in the form of a vaguely worded form letter. It doesn't help me, and only continues to erode my confidence that you have any interest in the views of your constituents or the health of our democracy.
