You Gave Our Personal Data To Big Balls—Give Us The Epstein Files!
11 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!
We, the undersigned, demand immediate action to safeguard the personal information of every American. Recent whistleblower disclosures reveal that while you were protecting Trump from the contents of the Epstein files, the Social Security Administration’s “U.S. DOGE Service” uploaded the records of more than 300 million citizens to an unsecured digital cloud, bypassing court orders and basic security safeguards.
This reckless handling puts our names, Social Security numbers, birthdates, addresses, and financial histories at risk of theft, identity fraud, and surveillance.
Specifically, we call on elected officials and federal agencies to:
Mandate a full, independent audit of all SSA data stored in cloud environments, with results made public within 90 days.
Immediately halt any further cloud uploads until proven secure and compliant with existing privacy laws (e.g., the Privacy Act, GDPR‑style safeguards).
Require end‑to‑end encryption for all SSA data at rest and in transit, with encryption keys held solely by the agency and never shared with third‑party vendors.
Enact stronger oversight: create a permanent, bipartisan congressional committee to monitor federal data‑handling practices and enforce penalties for violations.
Provide transparent redress for any individuals whose data has already been exposed, including credit‑monitoring services and legal assistance.
Our personal data is not a commodity to be moved around without consent. The government has a fiduciary duty to protect the information it collects, and failure to do so erodes public trust and endangers national security.
We demand Congress and the administration act now—before more breaches occur and before the private sector exploits these vulnerabilities.
Protect our privacy, protect our future.
And release the Epstein files already!
