White House purge of independent inspectors general

In a late night news item in the Washington post David Nakamura, Lisa Rein and Matt Viser report: 
“The White House late Friday fired the independent inspectors general of at least 12 major federal agencies in a purge that could clear the way for President Donald Trump to install loyalists in the crucial role of identifying fraud, waste and abuse in the government.” This is alarming and is exactly what was promised during the campaign. Purging anyone suspected of not being a loyalist to maga. Elimination of the guardrails which hindered the first trump administration is already underway. I don’t believe it is hyperbolic to see this as an alarming red flag. Please call this out and stop this administration from staying in power forever.
