Please do not disparage AOC or any of the other Dems out here speaking to the people. In trying to explain how you see your role as different than hers, you also attempted to denigrate and minimize the role she's playing and tried to imply your role was more valuable. I know you're walking a fine line in a purple state but most Dems don't see you as on our side. So this isn't a good time for you to denigrate someone who is out here gathering people, reminding them of our common values, and getting them geared up for the fight ahead. AOC is uniting people around the idea that it's all of us vs the oligarchy and as trump supporters are inevitably hurt by Trump's dismantling of our country, many of them will start to finally hear her common sense ideas and realize that her ideas aren't radical. We should have healthcare for all. We should have living wages. We should have affordable education that doesn't bankrupt us. Setting yourself apart from her also implies you think her views are radical and whether you believe it yet or not, her message will unite people against the oligarchy and we need that right now. Your fence sitting and capitulation votes make you look weak to the trump base and thought of as can be bought or coerced. That's how they view you. I think it'd be in your best interest to congratulate AOC for helping to drive positive messaging for Dems at a time that many of us are feeling done with corporate, centrist, middle of the road, appeasement Dems which is where you sit. That isn't on our side. Pitting yourself against AOC isn't on our side.
