SB302 Protect Providers and Patients Who Seek Gender-Affirming Healthcare in NV
Just days after Idaho made it a felony to provide gender-affirming care Senator Ohrenschall introduced SB302 to protect providers practicing in Nevada and patients who may come to Nevada for their healthcare.
There are over 400+ anti-trans bills in other states, but Nevada can choose to support freedom and make everyone feel safe to exercise their legal rights in our state. SB302 is a bill needed to protect Nevada’s gender-diverse community. The nationwide attacks on transgender or non-binary people [youth to seniors] make it urgently necessary to protect providers, patients, and families. SB302 will help families, patients, and providers make decisions that are best for their medical interests.
