Impeach Trump

The Constitution provides impeachment as a means to remove the President from office for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." Accusing the President of potentially exceeding his authority under the law and undermining constitutional rights like due process could provide grounds for impeachment proceedings. Congress has a duty to uphold the Constitution and democratic principles upon which this nation was founded. Pursuing impeachment must be given serious consideration if the President's actions and statements demonstrate a pattern of disregard for the rule of law and system of checks and balances. Protecting the integrity of the Presidency and our fundamental values is of paramount importance.
