An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Reject voter suppression bill eroding electoral freedoms

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The SAVE Act threatens to disenfranchise eligible voters, including women who have changed their name due to marital status, by imposing strict voter ID requirements that disproportionately impact communities of color, the elderly, those with disabilities, and married women. This bill claims to address voter fraud concerns, but credible studies show voter impersonation is exceedingly rare. Instead of protecting election integrity, it creates unnecessary barriers that make it harder for Americans to exercise their constitutional right to vote. I urge you to reject this bill as it undermines free and fair elections which are the foundation of our democracy. Voting rights must be safeguarded and expanded, not restricted through discriminatory policies masquerading as election security measures.
