SUPPORT HB 1916: PROTECTING REGISTERED VOTERS

I am writing in support of HB 1916, to protect registered voters from mass challenges. I am proud of Washington for being one of the best states for democracy. Since the 2020 election, we have seen a rise in election conspiracy groups and other bad actors attempting mass voter registration challenges. These tactics have unnecessarily removed many citizens from the voter rolls and overwhelmed election officials. Please pass HB 1916 to empower election officials to dismiss baseless voter registration challenges and protect voters like me from having our registrations canceled.
