New Senate leadership is needed

It is time for new leadership in the Senate. Minority leader Schumer has been an effective legislator for years and navigated well as majority leader even with a narrow majority. The instincts that served him then are counterproductive now in his role as minority leader faced with an aggressive and authoritarian executive branch that is supported by a feckless and complicit Republican majority. I encourage you to work with your peers to find a minority leader that recognizes the stakes and the nature of this fight. It is time for a change.
