Donald Trump has already pocketed $18 million from a cryptocurrency deal backed by Justin Sun, a Chinese entrepreneur facing fraud charges from the SEC. Sun’s $30 million investment in Trump’s World Liberty Financial venture directly triggered massive payouts to Trump’s company. This raises serious concerns about foreign money influencing a former president and likely candidate. If a Democrat were involved, Republicans would be demanding investigations. But because it benefits Trump, they remain silent. This double standard is unacceptable and undermines the rule of law. Since my Republican senators refuse to act, I’m calling on my state officials to stand up for democracy and demand accountability. Congress and federal agencies must launch immediate investigations into Trump’s financial entanglements. The American people deserve transparency. If Republicans won’t uphold the values they swore to protect, then they are complicit in Trump’s corruption.
