Around 90 people were detained and taken to a facility in Mason, Tennessee, with some pressured to sign voluntary departure orders on the spot.
This is a pattern, not an anomaly. Operation Rotten Apple in New York. Raids in Memphis. The Trump administration is using state criminal warrants as a pretext to conduct mass deportation sweeps. The Supreme Court already struck down one birthright citizenship order as unconstitutional, and now a second executive order is being challenged in federal court. The administration keeps pushing until something sticks. Meanwhile, real people are being taken from their communities in the middle of the night.
