Do not slash Medicaid and SNAP To fund tax breaks for rich guys!

The proposed Republican budget puts vital programs like Medicaid and SNAP at grave risk of deep cuts. These safety net programs provide essential healthcare coverage and food assistance to millions of vulnerable Americans, including children, the elderly, and those with disabilities. Slashing funding would deprive many of access to basic necessities and disproportionately harm our most disadvantaged communities. Such severe cuts are unacceptable and would be catastrophic for the well-being of our nation's most vulnerable populations. I urge you to reject this deeply misguided budget proposal that sacrifices the neediest among us in favor of extending tax cuts for the wealthy. Prioritizing the health and food security of all Americans, especially the most marginalized, should be a core responsibility of our government.
