URGENT: NO on HR5179. Protect Consumers & Respect International Law

Please vote NO on H.R. 5179. Israel's settlements in the West Bank have been found to be a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention by the International Court of Justice. It is unacceptable that Congress would vote to codify a Trump-era notice that advances this illegal theft of Palestinian land and falsely claims that Israeli settlements are in Israel. As a consumer, I have a right to know whether the items I might purchase were made on stolen Palestinian land. We must be a nation that upholds US law and international law, and that means opposing Israel's illegal theft of Palestinian land. ICJ President Nawaf Salam said it had found that "Israel's... continued presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory is illegal." This is urgent. Please get this to the representative immediately.
