DON’T DARE LET TRUMP TAKE OVER ELECTIONS

Can my elected officials please explain this letter sent by the federal government to election officials across the country? “Dear Chief Election Officials, To prepare for the 2026 US midterm elections, your election partners at the FBI, DOJ, DHS, USPIS, and the EAC would like to invite you to a call where we can discuss our preparations for the cycle, as well as updates and resources we can provide to you and your staff. The call will be on Wednesday, February 25 (2-3pm EST) and will be for Chief Election Officials. You may designate a proxy to attend in your place if you are not available. On Wednesday, March 4, we will hold a similar call for members of the EAC's Local Leadership Council. We look forward to speaking with you in support of the 2026 midterm elections. Thank you. Secretaries of state and local officials run each state’s election. Not the president. While they might coordinate with their local U.S. Attorney(s) in advance of an election, a nationwide call like this is unprecedented, particularly in the absence of a credible, identified threat from a foreign country that would require, say, cyber intelligence coordination. We the people expect that the people we vote into office to uphold our Constitution, as lawmakers, do everything they can with the power they have to uphold the law. The president cannot be allowed to corrupt our elections as he has been allowed to corrupt so many other things. Will the GOP ever reach their limit with this guy?
