The People's Promise
1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
When Donald Trump ran for president, he promised we’d be “winning so much [we’d] get tired of winning.” But 100 days in, it’s clear the only winners are billionaires, big corporations, and political insiders. The rest of us are being left behind.
This administration is working overtime to help the ultra-rich profit at our expense—cutting healthcare, threatening Social Security, and slashing vital services millions rely on to survive. Meanwhile, working people are drowning: struggling to afford rent, medicine, and groceries.
This isn’t just politics as usual. What we’re witnessing is an attack on the idea that every person deserves protection and dignity.
They’re defying court orders and locking people up without due process.
They’re stripping workers’ rights, rolling back environmental protections, and gutting anti-discrimination laws.
They’re raising costs for everyday Americans with reckless tariffs and mass layoffs, all while the rich sit comfortably on top.
These assaults are an attack on our freedoms, our communities, and our future.
But we will not be silent. We will not be divided. We will stand together—for our rights and for each other.
And resistance alone is not enough. We must offer a bold, hopeful alternative: The People’s Promise—a vision of an America that works for all of us:
An Economy That Works for Everyone:
Livable wages, the right to unionize, and affordable healthcare, housing, and childcare.
A Government for the People:
The wealthy pay their fair share. All children receive a quality education. A strong safety net supports us when we need it.
Equal Rights & Opportunity for All:
Due process is guaranteed. Our votes are counted. Our neighborhoods are safe from hate and discrimination.
These aren’t partisan goals—they’re basic American values.
Across the country, people are rising up. Workers are organizing. Young people are mobilizing. From small towns to big cities, we’re demanding more than resistance—we’re building something better.
This summer, we’ll gather in peaceful protest—not just to speak out, but to insist that every leader at every level delivers on these promises.
Trump’s agenda thrives on dysfunction. He exploits resentment fueled by a broken system. But if people had affordable housing, good schools, and healthcare that didn’t bankrupt them, his lies wouldn’t work.
That’s why we need real leadership. We need elected officials who will fix what’s broken, defend what matters, and deliver a government that works for everyone.
This is our country. This is our promise. And we’re here to make it real.
