Republicans Must Stop Undermining Health Care and Constitutional Integrity

I’m writing to express my full support for Democrats in their demands for: • A permanent extension of the ACA premium tax credits • A reversal of Republicans’ Medicaid cuts • Strong guardrails to prevent President Trump from using rescissions to claw back funds that Congress has already appropriated These are essential steps to protect Americans’ health care and uphold the rule of law. I support Democrats in doing whatever they must—including allowing the government to shut down—to secure these concessions. If a shutdown occurs, I will hold Republicans responsible. Your party controls the government and has repeatedly allowed Trump to violate the Constitution. It’s time to give Democrats everything they’re asking for and start doing your job by reining him in.
