Kill the “One Big Beautiful Bill”

Please include me in the count of your constituents who are vehemently opposed to the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Many of the spending cuts in the bill—especially cuts to Medicaid, but also NASA and the VA and too many more to name them all—are painful and abhorrent. Making such painful spending cuts in a bill that also gives huge tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans is insulting, illogical, and unacceptable. It’s reverse Robin Hood, plain and simple. The bill also increases some spending, in particular giving more money to ICE and to the military. These increases support frightening and unconstitutional actions by the Administration, like sending masked police to snatch people off the street based only on their appearance or where they work, and bombing Iran without Congressional approval. Please vote against the One Big Beautiful Bill, and do everything you can to convince your Republican colleagues to join you and kill this bill.
