The outrageous treatment of Senator Padilla

I expect you to make a statement about the outrageous treatment of Senator Padilla. The Department of Homeland Security is obviously lying when they say he did not identify himself -- NOT THAT IT MATTERS. You can clearly hear him identify himself in both the audio and video recordings when he entered the newsroom, despite that officers wrestled him to the ground, put him in handcuffs and told his aid to stop filming. These are the actions of a police state and this does not create a safe country. Can you imagine yourself being treated that way? It's time for the Senate to do their job and keep us safe. I also demand that you do your job and do not deploy the National Guard into North Carolina for law enforcement purposes.
