Unemployment due to the pandemic is at an all time high. The economy has tanked. Many people are facing eviction. So why is the Senate on break? The President is waging an all-out attack in an attempt to thwart a free and fair election as is guaranteed by the Constitution. You need to tell Mitch McConnell to get back to Washington NOW and act as is within your power and purview to do. The House has repeatedly passed legislation to help the people of this country; there are over 200 bills that Mitch McConnell refuses to take up. People are hungry. Veterans can’t get their medications because of the slow down in the postal service. And there you sit, while the POTUS plays golf You need to act NOW to address the issues and do the jobs that you were hired to do. The American people are not stupid. We know what you’re doing, or not doing, and we will remember. I urge you to demand that the Senate be called back from recess and you do your duty to the people in Indiana who rely on you.
