Preserve Social Security integrity, investigate DOGE actions urgently

It is highly concerning that an unelected and unauthorized agency like DOGE has been given access to sensitive Social Security Administration systems and data. The allegation that DOGE staffers are fundamentally misunderstanding Social Security's operations by claiming payments are being made to people over 150 years old is alarming. Social Security is a vital social safety net that millions of Americans have paid into their entire working lives and rely on for income and stability in retirement or disability. Any disruption or "interruption" of these earned benefits would be devastating. I urge an immediate investigation into DOGE's activities and demands for accountability regarding their handling of SSA data and systems access. DOGE's extreme cost-cutting directives appear to be compromising Social Security's ability to fulfill its mission of providing timely and accurate benefits to eligible recipients who have worked hard and followed the rules. We need assurances that DOGE will not undermine or attempt to dismantle Social Security through reckless actions based on inaccurate claims rather than a proper understanding of the program's operations and payment procedures.
