THIS IS ON YOU

Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas. And a woman. Writing today to congratulate you for bringing a dark day to Texas today. The final straw to finish the task of ripping civil rights away from half your constituents. But I expect the glow you are no doubt experiencing right now will be short lived. You’ve seen the polls. You hopefully listen to news outside your own echo chamber so you can get a taste of how America actually feels about this issue. Women are registering to vote in record numbers. Remember years past when women have been angry? And how they changed politics? This is one of those times. In spades. Multiplied infinitely. And y’all just didn’t listen. So on top of all the already awful stories coming out as a result of your ripping vital health care away from women in Texas, I expect you ain’t seen nothing yet with the abortion trigger law going into effect today. Your constituents will be harmed. Will suffer needlessly. Will die. And we will all be hearing the stories. You think we’re gonna forget that? Or who is responsible? You didn’t listen before you designated yourselves judge, jury and executioner. But you should have.
