Nothing to see here huh? I’m speaking of course of last night’s first televised January 6 committee meeting.
Nothing to see but a well-constructed timeline of how a wanna-be despot, armed with the presidency, tried everything within his power to counter the reality that he lost an election.
Deflection of duty that encouraged violence, then sat back and watched it. Sacrificing lives to his ego.
Last night’s storyline was damning. It exposed the lie like sunlight to a vampire.
The GOP who continues to enable this madness deserves no place, no position, no opportunity to work for the country they tried, are trying, to destroy.
They are either deluded, crazy, or both. Y’all need to clean house.
And I expect, if you have an ounce of self-respect left after the last few years, you went to bed with these words ringing in your ears…
“Tonight, I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain.”
