You are overseeing a regime of preventable deaths at home and abroad. Preventable deaths will increase if you don't extend ACA subsidies. USAID shutdown has caused the deaths of over 600,000 people. Preventable deaths are now occurring from measles and whooping cough because of RFK jr's anti-vax nonsense. The higher cost of health insurance is already resulting in Hospital closures; skyrocketing ACA premiums (if you don't pass subsidies) will increase the numbers of uninsured. More deaths have occurred in ICE custody this year than ever before. Women are dying because they cannot access appropriate care after miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. Innocent people clinging to wrecked boats are being murdered by Pete Hegseth's illegal orders. Funding for vital research on cancer and other complex conditions has been cut. You, Congress, own all the deaths that result from these policies, cuts, and personal agendas. I ask you to support every measure that promotes safety, access to medical care, prevention of famine and disease at home and abroad.
