I know you all are preoccupied with the current political situation in the US, but without the US as a mediating force in the world some countries situations are going to hell in a hand basket at a rapid rate. The country that is dear to my heart in this situation is Armenia. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer and wife to an Armenian, I watch with great dismay as Azerbaijan backed by Turkey bullies Armenians in Artsakh-Karabakh and Armenia itself.
For a long time I disagreed with the US’s role as the world’s police officer. However, with the absence of the US in that role, many bad situations including Artsakh & Armenia have only grown worse with each passing day. Now to be clear, I’m not advocating military intervention. We need less violence in the world not more. But there are other actions that can be take like sanctions and embargos to pressure Azerbaijan and Turkey to back off.
Please do what you can to help. My family and I and Armenians all over the world would really appreciate it.
