The defense department budget request is obscene!

1 and 1/2 trillion dollars for a bloated military is obscene!! And you need to do more than simply vote against it! You need to make press appearances, get people out and active to oppose this obscenity! No compromises! Democrats have thrown away this country through their insistence on doing things right and compromising with Republicans. Republicans don't compromise! They only push in One direction! Do not, I repeat, do not vote for one dime in additional defense spending. Democrats ought to propose a massive cut in military spending! Maybe $500 billion or so! Then maybe we can compromise by leaving it the same. Do not bend!
