Stop Trump’s Rollback of Fuel Efficiency Standards

Please overturn Trump's fuel economy rollback. Oil prices surged above $107 a barrel and administration responded by slashing the target for new cars and trucks from a projected 50 miles per gallon by 2031 to about 35. That will cost us all more money. Families are already getting crushed at the pump. A car that burns more gas costs more every time you fill up, wiping out any savings on the sticker price. The stronger standards were projected to save 14 billion gallons of gasoline by 2050. That's money that belongs in drivers' pockets, not Big Oil's. The air pollution that could be avoided with cleaner cars will save Americans in medical costs and missed work due to illness too. You have the power to reverse this.
