Protect free speech and tell Trump Leo’s the GOAT!

This is the United States of America- an experimental nation of forward thinking and progress. Our United States constitution commands freedom of speech on U.S. land. It has zero authority in other lands. Now that we have that out of the way- please explain to me why our president and the pentagon are making threatening statements to Pope Leo suggesting that he may not voice his opinion on U.S. politics and the war in Iran. He is an American. He is the pope. He is not on U.S. land. Hell, he cancelled his plan visit to the United States as a statement against the hatred and violence exhibited continually by the Trump administration. And the pentagon has the audacity to try to order his representative to DC to demand silence? Absolutely not. Pope Leo is one of the few Americans of authority to stand up to Trump and his regime. By our own constitution and laws, he has every right to do so and is exercising that right. Our own congressmen are too cowardly to say something. Thank goodness the pope is! Protect free speech and tell Trump that Leo’s the GOAT.
