I am writing to urge you to oppose efforts in this year's National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would hand over our military data or decisions to Prime Minister Netanyahu.
At a time when the Israeli government continues its devastating assault on Gaza and Trump works hand in hand with Netanyahu to expand reckless military operations across the Middle East, Congress should not be making integration with Israel's military a more permanent feature of US defense policy.
I urge you to:
• Oppose provisions in the NDAA, including measures such as Sections 219 and 622 in the House version, that would deepen military integration between the United States and Israel.
• Reject efforts to make US support for the Israeli military more automatic, permanent, and insulated from public oversight.
Congress must not continue blank-check policies that deepen US complicity in violence or hand over any part of our military to Netanyahu. I urge you to reject deeper military entanglement with Israel and support a foreign policy centered on diplomacy, accountability, and peace.
