Nominate a Public-Interest Minded Candidate to the FCC!

President Biden, please nominate a public-interest-minded candidate for the FCC as soon as possible. The FCC has operated without a full panel of commissioners for far too long. For decades, vital FCC rules assured that mega-corporations couldn’t dominate broadcast TV and radio. We need to keep it that way. Monopolies destroy competition and ethical media matters. The FCC needs a full panel of commissioners to function correctly. The delay in confirming a nominee to fill the fifth tie-breaking seat at the FCC has prevented the agency from having a majority vote on several critical issues, such as restoring robust Net Neutrality protections, making sure people can afford and have access to the internet, and continuing to regulate so that monopolies cannot pervade. Please nominate someone quickly. We need to get the FCC back up and running at capacity for the citizens of our nation.
