Tariffs are nonsense

Trump and Republicans who support him (explicitly or with their silence) clearly are out of touch and do not understand tariffs and what the American consumer is worried about. I don't know anyone who buys their child 30 dolls for Christmas, but I know plenty of American families who are worried about tariffs raising grocery prices, making a new car (or car repairs) unaffordable, or how to replace a stove or refrigerator on a tight budget, The man who has decked out the Oval Office in gold is in no position to tell American families that a $5,000 increase in the cost of basic goods doesn't matter!
