Condemn Trump's Failure To Secure Vital Military Assets

China has taken possession of a number of F-35 Lightning II components, purportedly critical to the continued development of their own stealth aircraft. They seized them as the civilian freighter carrying them was docked in Hong Kong; a series of events that never should have been allowed to happen. With this technology, our strongest adversary now poses a significantly greater threat to every single American, as they have a new way to potentially deliver nuclear weapons to our doorstep. As the man charged with our nation's security, I hold President Trump responsible for this complete lack of care shown to our nation's most valued assets. I pay my taxes in exchange for the promise that they will be used to defend me. Instead, the executive branch's negligence has empowered the enemy.
