Oppose & Vote NO on William J. Crain for the Federal Bench in Louisiana

Today we take pen in hand to write and urge you to oppose yet another extremist being nominated to serve on the federal bench for the Eastern District of Louisiana, William J. Crain. A standout extremist in a field of Trump-nominated extremists, Crain has shown a pattern of ideological extremism, hostility to civil liberties, protector of corporations over communities, and utterly devoid of any reasonable values towards reproductive choice and gun safety. The Senate has a duty to ensure that the federal bench isn’t packed with ideologues looking to remake our laws to match their own extremist beliefs. He must not be allowed to put the boot os extreme conservative values on the necks of the people in Louisiana, or serve as a conduit for unjust rulings to an irresponsible and likely corrupt conservatives on the Supreme Court. Someone who uses his personal moral judgements, rather than fairness and adherence to the laws of the land must not wear a robe. Anyone who believes that being ‘Republican of the Year’ qualifies him for any job must be sent packing, not elevated to the federal bench. Oppose and vote NO on William J. Crain. Thank you.
