Reject HB 500 5% cap on employer contribution to health insurance

I am writing to you as a deeply concerned citizen. The General Assembly’s proposed budget (House Bill 500) would be devastating to so many Kentucky families. The 5% cap on employer contribution to health insurance cost would lead to a massive drop in net income to teachers and school staff that is completely unacceptable and unsustainable. Doing this is literally telling these families that they might as well lay down and die. This is UNCONSCIONABLE. You MUST reject this budget and fight for Kentucky families.
