An open letter to State Governors & Legislatures (Ohio only)
Will you defend the constitution and put your voters first?

In his campaign Donald Trump said that he would let the States decide on a number of issues, like gender and sports and abortion. He won his campaign based on that promise.
Today President Trump called out the Governor of Maine for "refusing to comply" with his law on men in women's sports. He then threatened to withhold all federal funds from Maine as retribution.
My issue is not about gender and sports. My issue is that President Trump never intended to "let the States decide", and that he believes that his decision on everything "is the law".
So my question to you is this. If the Ohio Governor and legislature does something that President Trump doesn't like, and he threatens withholding federal funds from our State, what are you willing to do about it?
President Trump has already tried to abolish Birth Right Citizenship, which is in the constitution. He has already tried to freeze funding that would affect Ohio voters severely. Both of these have been stopped by lawsuits.
At CPAC there has been a lot of talk about a Third Term, including posters saying it. President Trump has mentioned running again. Even if he is joking it is concerning because the constitution does not allow a third term.
President Trump does not seem to respect the constitution, but I hope that you do.
So I ask you, what is your line in the sand? What change to the constitution is too far? At what point are you willing to risk the vengeance and retribution of the President in order to protect your state and voters?
Or are you willing to obey the President all the way, and risk a blue wave in the mid term elections?
