You cut the funding. Now fix the crisis. More than $2 billion in federal childhood vaccine grants were wiped out under your watch. These weren’t obscure line items, this was the backbone of our country’s school-based immunization programs, community vaccine outreach, and efforts to combat rising misinformation. You dismantled it. And with the school year already underway, the damage is mounting by the day. Kids are walking into classrooms without protection. Health departments are scrambling with no resources. And a preventable measles epidemic is suddenly a very real threat in every corner of this country. I'm asking you to restore full funding for immunization efforts, especially back-to-school drives, and launch a comprehensive public information campaign to reach families, rebuild trust, and counter the disinformation you’ve mixed messaging has created.
