House Actions Before Summer Recess I am writing to express my opinion on several issues. A response from the Representative is not required. Pass U.S. Supreme Court reforms, including the Judiciary Act of 2021 (H.R. 2584), the Judiciary Accountability Act of 2021 (H.R. 4827), and the Supreme Court Term Limits and Regular Appointments Act (H.R. 5140) to expand the number of seats on the Court, enact term limits, and create an enforceable ethics code for all SCOTUS justices. Pass H.R. 51, the Washington, D.C. Admission Act, so that DC citizens enjoy equitable representation in Congress. Support H.R. 7827, the Food and Agribusiness Merger Moratorium and Antitrust Review Act of 2022 to protect communities, farmworkers, farmland, and wildlife. Pass the Better Care Better Jobs Act (H.R. 4131) through budget reconciliation to lower healthcare costs and institute compensation for over one million family caregivers. Pass H.R. 8341, the Youth Voting Rights Act to remove barriers faced by young voters, especially students. Pass critical clean energy legislation to protect our health and climate.
