An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Vote no on this Big Terrible Bill

7 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

While you continue to claim that your reconciliation bill isn't going to remove anyone from Medicaid/Medicare that does deserve it, we all know that it will. It will also move even more trillions upwards into the hands of the billionaires and further gut the lower and middle class. You must not pass this. Of course you are going to send me a form letter email saying something smug like, "the Americans people gave Donald Trump a mandate," knowing full well than few Americans voted for him than someone else, and that these cuts to Medicaid are deeply unpopular, as is adding to the national debt by cutting taxes on the wealthy who already pay too little. In the end, this is going to cost the GOP the election at midterms and likely the White House in 2028. But in the meantime, this state will lose enormous parts of its federal tax dollars, leaving us unable to fund nursing homes, reservation schools, and health care for millions. You shall reap what you sow.
