HANDS OFF OUR SOCIAL SECURITY!!

I understand that the acting head of the Social Security Administration is threatening to shut down the whole agency because Elon Musk disagrees with the court ruling protecting our personal data, etc from the doge boys What the hell is happening? Get Musk and his goons out of Social Security! 73 million of us rely on those earned benefits. What Musk and DOGE are doing is illegal, dangerous, and cruel. When will Congress stand up for us? Shut them down NOW! As well as that they are dismantling Social Security. An agency whose administrative fees only cost one percent of their budget. They are sending 7000 workers home and shuttering many field offices while at the same time stating that millions are going to have to come into the office to prove their existence and they are not fraudulent actors And now the commerce secretary, states if his 94 year-old mother-in-law missed a check she wouldn’t call and complain. But if someone calls and complains, they are fraudulent. They are crooks scamming the system. This is set up to stop people from complaining! We’ll come after you if you complain. And there will be hell to pay. You’ll have to go and prove your existence. Bring all your proof - passport, birth certificate, marriage license, death certificate, etc. Many of these people are elderly and infirmed and don’t need to be drug out of their house to go in person to someplace where they have to wait six months for an appointment even. And it will be even worse now with all the shuttering of staff and facilities. This is crazy! And this is not what you people were elected to do. Dismantle our retirement program! It is NOT!!! an entitlement. And you need to get Elon and the doge boys out of our business! There was an evaluation done back in July 2024 and less than one percent of fraud was found. And most of that was accidental overpayment that Social Security was able to get back. So don’t try to pull the wool over our eyes! Stand up. Where are our our representatives. Why are you allowing this riffraff to continue to wreck havoc in our programs! Especially our retirement that we have paid into all our working lives! You need to stand up and fight this!
