An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Demand CDC Reinstates Safeguards Against Spread of HIV

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The CDC has taken the following actions that will increase the spread of HIV in the US: eliminated all HIV prevention and surveillance activities, thus losing the ability to track new HIV infections and target resources to those most at risk; cut the Minority HIV/AIDS Fund supporting Black and Brown gay and bisexual men and transgender women; defunded the Opioid and Infectious Disease Program, gutting syringe exchange efforts in many states. The spread of this preventable disease impacts everyone, not just the LGBTQ community. Don't let HIV take hold in the US again- demand the CDC reinstate the safeguards against the spread of HIV.
