I urge you to call immediate hearings on the DOJ’s shutdown of the bribery investigation into Trump’s “border czar,” Tom Homan. In September 2024, undercover FBI agents allegedly handed Homan $50,000 in a grocery bag in exchange for promises to steer lucrative federal contracts if Trump returned to power.
The DOJ claims there’s “no credible evidence” and must focus on “real threats.” That’s absurd. Ordinary citizens would face prosecution for far less, so why should senior Trump officials get a free pass?
Congress must demand public hearings with subpoena power, compel testimony from DOJ and FBI officials, and release all investigative materials. Our justice system depends on it. No one, not even Trump’s inner circle, is above the law.
