An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Support the 32-Hour Workweek Act

41 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

Vote yes on the 32-Hour Workweek Act, introduced by Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Mark Takano. American workers are more productive than ever, yet the 40-hour standard hasn't changed since 1940. It's time the law caught up with the reality that longer hours don't mean better outcomes — for workers or for businesses. A shorter workweek means healthier employees, lower burnout, and more time for families and communities. Countries that have piloted four-day workweeks have seen productivity hold steady or improve. Workers shouldn't have to choose between their jobs and their lives. Pass this bill.
