I’m writing to ask you to oppose House Resolution 59 that condemns Bishop Budde for her sermon at the National Cathedral as part of the inauguration services. This is an actual attack on free speech and has no place in our democracy. Many elected officials have done similar or worse in Congress against presidents. This should not be allowed to pass.
