Democrats need new leadership!

What is happening in our country is frightening and appalling. We the people are out in the streets demonstrating and defending our neighbors. Where are our “leaders”? Our leadership, Chuck Schumer and Hakim Jeffries, are good people but they are too timid and soft-spoken for this moment in history! We need daily news conferences highlighting the corruption and shredding of our founding documents and the brutal treatment of immigrants and citizens alike. We need moral clarity and outrage! Trump and the Republicans are building a private army to be used against us in the form of ICE and they are working hard to stop the midterm elections. The Democratic caucus needs to demand that Schumer and Jeffries step down and make way for leaders who lead! They are so far behind the people. I appreciate what my Senators and Representative have done but we need forceful leadership in place speaking out every single day to rally the nation with passion and a vision for the future of our democracy.
