An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Reinstate USAID funding to protect global health programs

4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

We must hold the administration accountable for these reckless cuts that have forced Johns Hopkins to lay off over 2,000 public health professionals working on vital global programs. Restoring USAID's funding is critical to regaining our leadership in tackling pressing health issues worldwide and safeguarding our nation's security from infectious disease threats. Failing to reverse course on this shortsighted policy will only exacerbate vulnerabilities and undermine decades of progress in improving health outcomes globally.
