Corruption must end, and it will one way or another

I am deeply troubled, angry, sad, and scared about what the future holds for this country in the coming years. The lack of backbone and the prioritization of self-interest over the well-being of the people is deeply disappointing and represents the core problem with our nation today. Too often, the focus is on personal success and financial gain rather than the needs of the people. We could easily have things like free healthcare, more government housing, and robust social programs to improve the lives of Americans, but these efforts are stifled because they might impact your donors—and, by extension, your own interests.
You may think we don’t notice or care, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. People are waking up, and perhaps the rise of figures like Trump was necessary to expose the cracks in the system. Whether he remains in power for months or years, history will judge him harshly, and those who aligned themselves with his corrupt policies—policies that favored the 1% over the 99%—will face the same judgment. This applies to both Democrats and Republicans who have put their own interests above the people’s.
By accepting money from Big Pharma, foreign entities, and other special interests, you’ve actively hindered genuine progress that could benefit the American people. This kind of corruption is not sustainable. Your comfort, wealth, and power are temporary. What is permanent, however, is the legacy you leave behind—the stain on people’s lives, the harm caused by your actions, and how you will be remembered in history. As John F. Kennedy once said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” I urge you to reflect on these words and consider the path you’re on.
