Stop funding oppression, prioritize human rights in Israel/Palestine

Senator Bernie Sanders will introduce a Joint Resolution of Approval to block the latest weapons shipments. Please join Sanders to block these bombs and to support a total arms embargo on the Israeli government to save Palestinian lives. The current escalation of violence in Israel/Palestine is extremely concerning. Providing more weapons will only fuel the cycle of bloodshed. As an American taxpayer, I urge you to stop approving arms sales to Israel until there is a firm commitment to end the occupation and human rights abuses against Palestinians. Our government should not be complicit in enabling oppression. Instead, we must use our influence to pressure Israel to abide by international law, respect Palestinian rights, and pursue a just peace through diplomacy and negotiations. Continuing military aid without accountability perpetuates an unjust status quo. I ask that you prioritize human rights over military exports in dealing with this conflict. Please vote against any further arms transfers until there is meaningful progress towards freedom, equality and self-determination for Palestinians.
