Michigan Legislators, get the budget done!

The school district where I live needs to know their funding for the 2025-2026 school year. As you are aware schools must pass a budget for the 2025-2026 school year by June 30. This means our legislature needs to do its job. The House of Representatives is stalling, and that is not acceptable. Last year my school district did not receive an increase to its per pupil allocation. This significantly impacted revenue and opportunities for students. This year, in order to keep up with inflation, I encourage you to pass a school aid budget that supports the work our students do each day.
